Economic stimulus project and support for marginalized families in the Gaza Strip through temporary employment (work for money)

 

A project sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with Qatari funding, which aims to improve the living conditions of poor and marginalized families, by creating temporary employment opportunities and providing a capacity building and skills development programme, especially for youth. The project started in April 2019 and ended in January 2020. Project outputs:

  • 12 employment opportunities for disabled people have been created.
  • 506 Jobs created for unemployed graduates.
  • 124 Jobs created for skilled workers and 531 jobs for unskilled workers.
  • 15 Job opportunities have been created for 15 field coordinators.
