The project of integrating and qualifying graduates of social rehabilitation centers in the Palestinian labor market

 

This project implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development and funded by the Ministry of Finance. The project aimed to develop human and social capitals for graduates of vocational rehabilitation centers by creating decent employment opportunities for them, and aims to reduce unemployment and alleviate poverty among these young people and their families, by raising professional competence and enhancing competitiveness in the Palestinian labor market.  Implementation of the project began in November 2018 year and ended in July 2019. Project outputs are:

  • More than 100 graduates from vocational training centers have been trained and became qualified for labor market.
  • 65 Permanent jobs were created.
  • Number of direct beneficiaries estimated at 325.
