Ramallah:

Wednesday at the seat of the Statistics Authority in Ramallah, the two officials stressed during their meeting the need to benefit from the information and statistics provided by the Statistics Authority periodically and continuously. The two officials agreed to hold more meetings at all levels during the next stage to study the possibility of implementing joint projects.

At the begging of the meeting, Hamdan stressed the vital and national role of the Statistics Authority in the development process. It is through its great work in providing accurate and necessary data to build on in implementing projects and drawing future plans for the government, institutions, and all segments of society.

Hamdan said that PFESP looks forward to working closely and concretely with the Statistics Authority, especially with regard to studying the conditions of the labor market, graduates and the unemployed. This is in a way to benefit its studies and work strategy.

Hamdan pointed out that there are work fields available for work between the two institutions, which are responsible for supporting the development process.

Hamdan praised Minister Awad and her decisive role in developing the institution and placing it on the list of the best statistical institutions in the world.

For her part, Awad expressed her readiness to cooperate with PFESP and provide all necessary data, as well as her keenness to deepen cooperation in implementing joint projects that serve the development process.
