PFESP and the
Ramallah, Palestine:
The German Foundation for International Cooperation "GIZ" and PFESP have agreed to work to determine PFESP's work needs in accordance with the organization's work priorities and its operating plan.
The two foundations examined the ways to enhance cooperation, exchange of experience, and information regarding projects.
This came during a visit by a delegation from the Foundation on Wednesday. It included Maha Azhiman, a key program advisor at the Foundation, and Benjamin Farsh, a key program advisor at the Foundation to the seat of PFESP in Ramallah. There was a meeting with PFESP's staff headed by the executive director Mahdi Hamdan, who started the meeting by welcoming the delegation.
Hamdan praised the great role that the German Foundation plays in supporting the technical and vocational education sectors and other sectors in Palestine.
He expressed his aspiration to work with the Foundation during the coming period in the fields in which it operates in accordance with its operational and implementation plan.
Hamdan reviewed a number of important and priority projects for the technical and vocational education, employment, and development sectors in general.
Hamdan stressed that PFESP can achieve more successes in terms of reducing unemployment and developing technical education through joint work with the German Foundation.
He praised the interest of the German Foundation to work with PFESP, which was reflected by the delegation's visit.
For her part, Azhiman promised to work with PFESP on upcoming projects during the next stage. She stressed that the foundation aims to improve and develop its work to ensure improving the lives of Palestinian citizens.
Azhiman stressed the importance of joint cooperation between the two institutions, especially since they work in common areas.
