Ramallah:

The Chairman of PFESP, His Excellency the Minister of Labor, Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, discussed with a German ministerial and institutional delegation headed by the Deputy Director of International Cooperation at the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation, Hanna Ilga, ways to develop and promote cooperation and joint work and support the capabilities of PFESP.

Abu Jaish agreed with the German delegation, which also included Heikki Knop and Fatima Asfour of the German Cooperation Agency "GIZ," to involve "PFESP" in the plans and programs of the German Cooperation Agency in Palestine.

The meeting, which was also attended by Executive Director of PFESP Mahdi Hamdan, discussed the development and preparation of joint projects between PFESP and the German Cooperation Agency. Projects that focusing on supporting and increasing the employment of women and marginalized groups and supporting promising sectors.

Abu Jaish expressed his aspiration to deepen cooperation and work between the German Agency and PFESP during the coming period. He stressed his full readiness to provide everything necessary for the success and promoting of this cooperation.

Abu Jaish praised the role of the German Cooperation Agency in supporting the employment, training, and vocational education sector in Palestine. He expresses his hope to promote and increase this support during the coming period to overcome the great difficulties facing the employment sector in Palestine, which suffers due to the occupation.

For her part, Ilga confirmed her confidence in the enormous technical capabilities of PFESP, which was recently reinforced by pioneering projects implementing in Palestine.

Ilga said that PFESP has the confidence of many international donor institutions. She has touched in recent months. She considers that these capabilities and confidence will gain PFESP more attention by her institution and other international institutions.

Ilga expressed great enthusiasm to work on supporting the capabilities of PFESP and cooperation in the field of employment and support to the micro enterprises sector.
