PFESP opening a training program for beneficiaries of the

Today in Rafah, Khan Yunis and Central governorates. the Palestinian Fund for Employment and Social Protection for Workers (PFESP) opened a training program for beneficiaries of "Creating job opportunities for young women" project. It is a project of the vocational and technical education and training sector. It financed by the Japanese government through the United Nations Development Program/Program of Assistance to the Palestinian People UNDP/PAPP UNDP Palestinian.

The trainees, numbering 125 girls, will receive advanced training courses in various technical fields through trainers from the Business Services Department of PFESP. The idea of the project is based on creating sustainable job opportunities for young women by investing in education and vocational and technical training.

The Executive Director of PFESP, Mahdi Hamdan. said that the project will facilitate the access of female trainees to different financial portfolios to finance their ideas, as well as for private sector operators who are looking for ready trained girls to work in the local labor market.
