BoD of the PFESP recognizes the Financial and Administrative Report and the Workplan for 2021
Ramallah:
In a meeting today, the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Fund for Employment and Social Protection for Workers, approved the financial and administrative report for the year 2020, the PFESP's budget and the workplan for 2021.
The meeting, which was chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Minister of Labor Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, and in the presence of the members of the BoD and the Executive Director, Mr. Mahdi Hamdan, stressed the intensification of the PFESP’s work during the next phase in the Jordan Valley and facing the Israeli annexation plan and implementing the national employment plan announced by the Ministry of Labor. This is in addition to confronting the effects of the spread of the Corona Pandemic on projects.
For his part during the meeting, the Executive Director of the PFESP, Mr. Mahdi Hamdan, reviewed the PFESP’s achievements over the past year, its positive impact on the development and operational process, and its role in supporting the economic sector in facing the spread of the Corona.

Also, raising the readiness of Palestinian institutions to pay attention to employment issues in local development projects, infrastructure and emergency response.
