PFESP, represented by Director of Public Relations and Recruiting for Money Mahdi Hamdan, the Ministry of Labor represented by the General Director of Employment in the Ministry Rami Mahdawi, and Bank of Palestine represented by the Director of Medium and Small Enterprises Mr. Shaker Al-Safadi, held a tour to publicize the program "Your Project" regarding to concessional lending. It is implemented by "PFESP" in cooperation with Bank of Palestine, the Ministry of Labor, the General Administration for Employment, and the Ministry of Finance and Planning. This was on Wednesday in Hebron Governorate.

During the tour, meetings were organized with the institutions and activities of the governorate. A meeting was held with the employment council in the governorate, during which "Your project" program was discussed in particular.

Rami Mahdawi, General Director of Employment, emphasized that the Ministry of Labor attaches particular attention to supporting entrepreneurial youth. In addition to spreading the culture of leadership in our Palestinian society, and strengthening the culture of technical education and vocational training to create job opportunities.

Mahdawi said that the inability of the public and private sectors to absorb the increasing demand for job opportunities has forced the ministry to pay attention to and remarkably focus on partnership with institutions working in the fields of development and employment. This is to create a large area for new entrants on the labor market from graduates and others.

In a speech, Mahdi Hamdan, Director of Public Relations and Recruiting in PFESP, pointed out the importance of partnership with national institutions. It considers as a pure national partnership with distinction with the Bank of Palestine; the auspices of the Ministry of Labor - General Administration of Employment and the Ministry of Finance.

Hamdan stressed PFESP’s keenness to provide distinguished technical services to support young people who want to create or develop their own projects. He noted that it provides multiple windows to access financing; the most important of which is "Your Project" program.

Hamdan said that this effort came based on the strategic direction and vision of His Excellency Chairman of the Board of Directors and Minister of Labor Mamoun Abu Shahla. He is very interested in supporting the establishment of medium, micro and micro-enterprises to generate sustainable job opportunities.

For his part, Shaker Al-Safadi explained that the advantages of this program and the conditions for obtaining the loan are unparalleled in the local market. Especially since the interest is declining and very simple and does not exceed five percent. It is a stimulus for young people who want to obtain financing. In addition to the grace period of 6 months and up to a year.

Al-Safadi said that Bank of Palestine's crews are fully prepared with the crews of PFESP to provide technical support before obtaining the loan and also during the implementation of the project to ensure its success.

The delegation concluded their visit to the University of Hebron, where an open meeting was held with a number of graduate students. They listened to a detailed presentation on the "program" and how to benefit from PFESP's services through operating offices and business services employees. The students' inquiries and questions about the program were answered.

The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Salah Al-Zrou, President of the University of Hebron, where he expressed his keenness to support all national initiatives aimed at supporting youth and creating job opportunities.

Al-Zrou affirmed that the university, for its part, attaches the highest importance to promoting a culture of leadership, technical education and vocational training.
