Minister of Labor Abu Shahla signs with his Jordanian counterpart a record to implement cooperation agreements between the two ministries
At the Jordanian capital, Amman, the Minister of Labor, Dr. Mamoun Abu Shahla, signed with his Jordanian counterpart, Samir Murad, the record of the meeting that done by them to activate the agreement signed between the two ministries.
The record included a work plan and operational mechanisms according to a specific work program to implement the terms of the agreement. It includes that the institutions supporting the two ministries prepare the operational plans and timetables to activate the protocols and memoranda of understanding signed between the two sides. It is through the preparation of time plans and work programs agreed upon between those institutions before the end of the year 2018.
The agreement also includes the exchange of visits between officials and experts in the various fields of work and specialization, programs and studies related to vocational training programs, curricula, methods and legislation. It is according to a special agreement organized between the Palestinian Ministry of Labor and the Jordanian Vocational Training Corporation. In addition to the exchange of experiences, programs and studies in the field of (gender) and targeted programs towards that. Encouraging cooperation and exchanging experiences between trade union organizations and employers' organizations on both sides are also included.
Abu Shahla praised the level of cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries, the price of the ministry's support, and equivalent arms for the Palestinian Ministry of Labor and its departments in various fields.
A delegation from the Palestinian Ministry of Labor visited Jordan at the end of last week. They held several meetings and organized a number of field visits to see Jordan's experience and the experiences of the Jordanian Ministry of Labor in a number of areas.
For his part, Murad stressed the ministry’s keenness to put its expertise in front of the Palestinian brothers in various fields. Especially cooperation in preparing and training cadres in the fields related to the work sector, employment and vocational and technical training (preparation of professional standards, and developing and updating of professional classification, and characterization).
He pointed out the need to overcome all difficulties that oppose cooperation between the two sides in the interest of the two brotherly countries.
