Ramallah: PFESP participates in a workshop on graduates and creative projects

Ramallah:

PFESP, represented by the Business Services Development Department, participated in a workshop organized by the Development and Investment Unit in Al-Bireh Municipality. It is about university graduates, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurial ideas.

The workshop, in addition to representatives of PFESP, was attended by representatives of the Accelerated of Pioneering Agricultural Projects and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).

Alaa Sabbagh, the head of the Development and Investment Unit in the Al-Bireh Municipality, began the workshop with a speech during which she affirmed the municipality's keenness and interest in supporting the youth sector and their pilot ideas.

For her part, Nebal Awad, Director of the Business Services Development Department at PFESP, reviewed the business development services. They provided by PFESP for entrepreneurs, project developers, and all marginalized groups. It includes free training, consulting, feasibility studies, and providing concessional loans to entrepreneurs and youth. It is under the guidance of His Excellency the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mamoun Abu Shahla. This is to develop the Palestinian economy, which contributes to the establishment of pilot projects that encourage self-employment. This ensures the dignity of the citizen and to access to his right to work.

In turn, Ashraf Taha, Executive Director of the Accelerated of Pioneering Agricultural Projects, talked about how to promote the project and present it to supporters. Also, he addressed the nature of the project and defending the idea, supporting the accelerating of the pilot projects, and providing grants to entrepreneurs.

At the workshop end, the participants present their projects and ideas, where they were discussed and directed by the keynote speakers.
