The Minister Abu Jaish chairs a meeting of the Executive Board of PFESP

Tuesday, His Excellency Minister of Labor Dr. Nasri Abu Jaish, Chairman of PFESP, chaired, a meeting of the Executive Board of PFESP. It was in the presence of the members, Shaher Saad, the Secretary General of Federation of Worker's Trade Unions of Palestine, Farid Ghannam, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Omar Hashem, President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, and Mahdi Hamdan, Executive Director of PFESP.

In a speech at the beginning of the meeting, Minister Abu Jaish emphasized his full support for PFESP's work and its various projects. He praised at the same time PFESP's staff and board members.

Abu Jaish said that graduates and unemployed greatly hope that PFESP will solve their problems, provide job opportunities and the ground for the establishment of developmental projects.

He stressed the necessity of the commitment of financiers, foreign, international, Arab and local and institutions, who are working in the field of finance, to work with and through PFESP. It possesses all elements of success and creativity in the implementation of related projects. In addition to having database of the unemployed and its long expertise in this field.

Abu Jaish promised to work hard with everyone to expand PFESP's portfolio of projects during the coming period to meet the serious challenges that facing the issue and the national project.

He also stressed the importance of participating, linking, and promoting work with various national institutions, especially unions, to improve work.

Minister Abu Jaish listened to a detailed explanation given by Hamdan. It is about PFESP's work during the past period and the projects that are implementing now and those intended to be implemented during the coming period.

Hamdan reviewed the achievements of PFESP during that period, most notably the "Startup" project and the "Your Project" program to support and finance development projects. He also reviewed operating projects implemented by "PFESP" in the Gaza Strip in cooperation with international organizations, especially with the United Nations Development Program "UNDP".

Hamdan also addressed to the expansion of "PFESP" work, which encompassed all governorates, including Jerusalem. Also, he addressed the interest in working in the Gaza Strip, which suffers from extremely difficult economic conditions.

Hamdan also reviewed the plans and strategy of "PFESP" during the coming period. It will witness funding and support for the establishment of thousands of developmental projects for graduates and the unemployed. In addition to expanding the base of operational projects.

Hamdan stressed that PFESP is looking forward to achieving distinguished results in the field of combating unemployment and promoting development in marginalized areas that are threatened with confiscation during the period of work of His Excellency Minister Abu Jaish.
