PFESP and Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry agree to implement a number of joint projects

A number of agreements and understandings for partnership and bilateral cooperation was concluded by a delegation from PFESP headed by the Executive Director Mahdi Hamdan and Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry headed by the Chairman of the Chamber Abdo Idris. This was during a visit by PFESP delegation to the Hebron Chamber of Commerce.

The two delegations agreed that opening a window for PFESP by the Hebron Chamber would be done at its seat. This is to introduce PFESP and its services, and to provide them directly to the beneficiaries. This will enhance the opportunities for those interested to obtain financing for their projects and to increase the community’s benefit from PFESP's services, activities and various projects.

During the visit, the two parties also agreed to implement a number of joint operational and development projects in the Hebron Governorate considering it as an important commercial center in Palestine.

During the visit, Hamdan gave a revealing explanation and presentation of “PFESP's” work and its various projects. In addition, he gave a brief on how providing support to beneficiaries, the existing financing portfolios, and the financial portfolios that the “PFESP” seeks to establish and operate in future. It aims in general to achieve PFESP’s goals of raising the percentage of Employment and reducing unemployment in the Palestinian society.

For his part, Idris pointed out that Hebron is in need of many developmental projects that contribute to creating new job opportunities for youth and women.

The two parties during the meeting stressed the importance of granting beneficiaries zero loans and working methods based on the adoption of businessmen for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ideas.

PFESP's delegation, which also included, Dania Abu Al-Hayat, Director of the Lending and Finance Department, concluded its visit by checking the Chamber's facilities, the permanent exhibition, the various administrative departments, in addition to the business incubator and the employment corner. These pose a common domain of cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and PFESP.
