PFESP and Bank of Palestine organize a workshop for students of Al-Quds Open University in Jericho

Jericho:

PFESP, in cooperation with Bank of Palestine, organized a workshop for students of Al-Quds Open University in Jericho Governorate on technical support measures, lending, and financial inclusion.

The workshop led by the Direct Sales Official at Bank of Palestine, Adham Khalifa. It covered the conditions of lending, guarantees, inquiry procedures, the creation of a bank account, account management, and other banking financial issues

The workshops come as a commitment from PFESP to encourage pioneers and graduates in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza to manage and set up their own projects and manage their accounts. In addition to providing job opportunities for them and members of their families and creating productive family projects that contribute to reducing the unemployment rate and increasing Palestinian revenues. This is in a way that contributes to the stability and growth of the Palestinian economy.

It also comes within the framework of PFESP’s strategy to enhance the capabilities of young graduates and refine their skills. This will ensure their ability to succeed in their projects.

In a speech to him at the opening of the workshop, Ihab Zoghb, PFESP's business services coordinator, stressed the importance of the trainings provided to reach the largest segment of the entrepreneurs and business owners. This is to provide them with appropriate financing through the "bank" and the many banking facilities and services that meet the needs of our people.

Zoghb also stressed PFESP's commitment to linking with the widest network of institutions, companies and associations. This is to ensure the improvement of services and trainings provided to graduates and youth.

Zoghb pledged to continue organizing such qualitative educational workshops during the coming period in the various governorates.
